Deputy General Manager (Business Development)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager (Business Development) to join our dynamic team at AirBrick Infra. As an AGM/DGM, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our client base in the commercial interior design and build industry. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategic business development plans, nurturing client relationships, and identifying new opportunities for growth. This role requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the commercial interior design and build market.

Responsibilities:

Business Development Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Identify target markets, potential clients, and emerging trends in the commercial interior design and build industry.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, interior designers, contractors, and other stakeholders in the industry.
  • Understand client needs and objectives, and provide innovative solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on commercial interior design and build services.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Lead the sales team in achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to win new projects and contracts.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients.

Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing business development team.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Collaboration and Networking:

  • Collaborate with internal departments, including design, engineering, project management, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and stay updated on industry trends.

Contract Negotiation and Management:

  • Negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions with clients, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation.
  • Review and analyze contract documents, identifying potential issues and proposing appropriate solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in business development within the commercial interior design and build industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial interior design and build market, including current trends, industry players, and best practices.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to win new business and close deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a high-performing team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
